Perspective

Our daughter Aviana Reese

I sit writing a recipe, looking out the window. A gentle breeze sways the sun kissed trees. With the season, my thoughts trace six years. I held our daughter, looked out a very different window and tried to make words of words that should never be made.

Hello and Welcome!

In these pages you’ll find vegetable dishes to savor and sustain along with dessert recipes to gather around or share with neighbors, co-workers, or anyone in need of extra love.

A word on altitude, I’ve cooked and baked at both sea level and in Lake Tahoe. Many recipes aren’t affected by elevation, but if they are, I’m sure to note the difference within the ingredients.

We love to share, so thank you for stopping by because along with my husband Dave and our dog Rainey, each recipe is a thrill and therapy in creation. I hope the feeling comes through in every post and especially bite.
